Out That Window

You only have certain amount of time to make an impact
The window of opportunity is in relation to your action
Closing of the blinds picks up with mistakes
Opening of the curtain with the pulling of the right string

Let the sun shine in as it peeks over her roof out that window
The rays awake her smile out that window
Or rain falls suddenly out that window
She sleeps in and frowns out that window

Stare out that window
Let life play like a movie out that window
Alter the scenarios out that window
Change the plot out that window

Or become that empty sky out that window
Revealing nothing different from before out that window
A cloud or a storm out that window
A cloud or a storm out that window

Hopes out that window
Life’s out window
Love’s out that window
(get it) loves out that window

Lost out that window
Found out that window
Cast burdens out that window
Drown sorrow out that window

Let the pain out that window
Fall on the pane out that window
Offering a ledge out that window
Go ahead out that window

The window knows their story
It receives it daily never stressing
never judging simply providing a vacancy. Boxing emotions poured out from seal to seal. A friend to the friendless.
They see out the window sometimes together most times apart
The world turns out that window
Souls burn out that window
If you can’t be flawless here you can be out that window
…out that window
… Out that window

Thank you, I was sitting there daydreaming about my life while staring out the window. And the poem hit me, I decided to finish it this morning! I appreciate your comment

Interesting. Every bedroom has atleast one window. Very thought provoking. Nice.

This is true in order for it to be considered a bedroom I believe it has to have a window. Just imagine everything that window has seen and heard! My window might be one of my closest friends. Thank you for the comment!
